Portrait of photographer in studio

Three conversations and a finished object. No rush, no surprises, no surprise invoices at the end.

01

The first letter

A long email, a phone call, or a coffee in Milan. We talk about what you need, what the day feels like, and whether we are the right fit for each other.

One week before booking

02

The sitting

I arrive with one assistant and a small bag. We work slowly — I rarely take more than two or three hundred frames in an hour. Nothing is rushed.

The day of the project

03

The finished object

Within four weeks, a private gallery and a curated edit. Fine-art prints arrive in linen boxes. Albums are hand-bound in Tuscany.

Marchetti makes photographs that feel like remembered things. You look at them and wonder how she knew.
