Сохранение архитектуры и истории с любовью
I make photographs that try to hold what the eye cannot keep — a glance, a pause, the colour of late afternoon on bare skin.
Elena Marchetti is an editorial and wedding photographer based between Milan and the Ligurian coast. Her work has appeared in Vogue Italia, Cereal, Kinfolk and Harper's Bazaar, and she has been named one of PDN's 30 emerging photographers to watch.
After a decade of fashion editorials in Paris and New York, she returned to the Mediterranean to slow down. Her studio takes on a small number of commissions each year — weddings, portraits, and quiet editorial assignments for brands that prefer restraint over noise.
Every project begins with a long conversation. The camera comes later.

A small, deliberate list of services. Each engagement begins with a conversation and ends with a finished object — a book, a frame, a folder of photographs you can hold.
Travel is included for weddings across Italy, France and the Mediterranean. Beyond that, simply ask.
For magazines, brands and private clients. Studio or on location, available as half-day or full-day commissions.
Whole-day coverage with two photographers, an online gallery and a hand-bound linen album.
For fashion houses and quiet brands. Direction, production support and final retouching included.
At-home sessions made over a weekend — quiet, unhurried, often in black and white. Printed and boxed.
Three conversations and a finished object. No rush, no surprises, no surprise invoices at the end.

I arrive with one assistant and a small bag. We work slowly — I rarely take more than two or three hundred frames in an hour. Nothing is rushed.
The day of the project
Within four weeks, a private gallery and a curated edit. Fine-art prints arrive in linen boxes. Albums are hand-bound in Tuscany.
Two to six weeks after
Marchetti makes photographs that feel like remembered things. You look at them and wonder how she knew.
